Mothers cradle babies, elderly patients lean on canes, and tired workers glance anxiously at their watches. They have been standing there for hours — waiting not just for medical care, but for a system that keeps failing them. “I got here at 5 a.m.,” said Nomvula, a 47-year-old patient suffering from hypertension. “It’s now almost 10 and I haven’t even been inside.
